25th January

Ayr BC – We give thanks for God’s protection over our church family particularly staff and residents of Airlie House who have faced specific challenges during the pandemic. In recent months we have been exploring what a community of love and grace looks like in our context. Please pray for us as we continue to nurture and develop this going forward.

26th January

Father we pray for carehome residents across Scotland at this time. May you protect them and be with carehome staff, residents and their families during this wintertime. May there be fun and laughter in carehomes and a sense of community.

27th January

Bearsden BC – Give thanks that our garden has helped us during the lockdown to keep connected with our young families through our garden Sunday school and also with our older folks and the community through our Barista garden cafe.  Please pray especially for our young people who have found the lockdown really tough and for re-connection with them through our youth programme in conjunction with other local churches and as and when we can return to the schools for our chaplaincy work and SU groups.

Every Sunday evening several hundred people from our churches across Scotland join in our National Prayer Livestream.

The prayer calendar is a framework to help individuals or congregations pray for all our churches throughout the year.
