10 Feb, 2022

10th February

Brae BC, Shetland – Lord God we pray for the church fellowship at Brae in  Shetland. We pray for opportunities this week for the church  members to hold conversations with people on the island who don’t know you yet.

11th February

Bridge of Don BC, Aberdeen – Give thanks as the church continues to serve the community and witness for Jesus in the Bridge of Don area of Aberdeen. Pray for the Striders Coffee Shop that it will be a hub for people to make connections and ask big questions about who Jesus is.

12th February

John Craib (Chaplain, HMP Low Moss) – Give thanks that we have been able to continue with chaplaincy in Low Moss during the pandemic. We have been able to continue with services delivered by video to every prisoner’s TV.  Not all watch, but some have who would never attend an in-person service.  Please pray for the Alpha Course I plan to show every three weeks as part of the video service, that many more will watch and be challenged by the Gospel. Give thanks for the new member of our team, Eddie, who is a Catholic Deacon and a man of clear faith.

Every Sunday evening several hundred people from our churches across Scotland join in our National Prayer Livestream.

The prayer calendar is a framework to help individuals or congregations pray for all our churches throughout the year.
