Lord God we give thanks for the men and women who often work in dangerous situations as firefighters across Scotland. We pray for your protection and guidance as they tackle fires and also for safety for the teams sent out to tackle moorland fires over the summer months.
17th May
Duncan Street Baptist Church, Edinburgh – We give thanks to God for a short Vacancy period at Duncan Street Baptist Church and for the appointment of Robert Murdock from The Faith Mission as our new Pastor from May 2022. We ask for prayer for guidance with plans for evangelism and for spiritual and numerical growth as we go forward with a new Pastor.
18th May
Lord we pray today for preparations for the Canopy Summer event taking place at Dunblane High School on Saturday 11 June. We pray for the speakers as they prepare their talks and seminars. We pray for the worship team as they make preparations to lead us in worship.
