The Baptist Union of Scotland has been partnering with LeadAcademy since 2017 to deliver focused training courses for Church Leadership Teams. These have been a catalyst for transforming how leaders develop more effective ways of working as a team and designing/delivering their own strategically considered plans in the four areas of Leadership, Mission, Discipleship and Culture. This is a core element of what the Baptist Union offers our network of churches in the area of leadership development.
The pandemic has prompted many of our churches to begin re-thinking the changing nature, opportunities and possibilities of church development; and, a number of Church Leadership teams have also re-formed in recent years. You may be sensing the prompting of the Spirit along similar lines.
In response to this, the LeadAcademy Course Developers have offered to come to Scotland and offer a Taster Day, including lunch and refreshments, for Scottish Baptist Ministers.
New cohorts of Learning Communities will be starting from late 2022 and early 2023. These will be open to any church leadership teams, including those that have previously attended a Learning Community. You can find testimonials from some of the churches that have participated, and more information on our website, linked below.
Details of the Taster Day can be found here. Please get in touch with Carly (admin@scottishbaptist.org.uk) with any questions, either about the Taster Day, or about the Learning Communities.
Every blessing,
Andrew Clarke
