Please pray for our AGM which takes place via zoom tonight. Pray for those attending and representing our churches across Scotland. Give thanks that even in the seemingly mundane, we have the opportunity to give glory and honour to God.
Please pray for winter night shelters across the country and the staff and volunteers who run these important facilities, particularly this year as they run facilities in a Covid-safe way to protect guests and staff. Pray that many lives will be saved this winter...
Stranraer BC - Please pray for the Baptist church family in Stranraer as they meet week by week either online or in person for some people. Pray that they will know the nearness of God during this time.
As churches are unable to hold Christmas events and outreach activities as they usually do at this time of year, please pray for creativity and wisdom for churches across Scotland to know how to celebrate Christmas as church family and share the good news of Jesus.
We continue to pray for frontline works in all settings, particularly in hospitals, who may be experiencing anxiety or burnout. Lord, bring strength to the weary, hope for the hopeless, rest to the burdened and burned out and peace to the anxious at this time.
Give thanks that during this month we can reflect on the birth of our Saviour and anticipate with joy the celebration of the Light of the World come to dwell among us.
As parts of Scotland are currently in Level 4 restrictions, we pray for the businesses and self-employed people that affected by these restrictions and we pray for provision in a time of need and worry.
We give thanks to God for the recent breakthroughs during vaccine trials across the world for Covid-19 and pray that these vaccines will come to fruition and help change the course of this pandemic.

Stenhouse BC – Please pray for our neighbours who've been affected by job losses and poor mental health. Pray that as a community, Stenhouse is able to rally together to get through these months. Pray that as a church we can shine Jesus' light.
