1 Feb, 2022

1st February

‘I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.’ (Psalm 121:1-2) Lift our eyes up O Lord, lift our eyes up, that we might see your faithfulness and help in the midst of the storm and trust in no other but You.

2nd February

Father we pray today for the geo-political instability in many regions in the world, particularly in Ukraine, at this time. We pray for diplomacy not deployment, we pray for wisdom for the international community seeking to de-escalate the situation and we pray Lord that you would give peace and protection to the Ukrainian citizens caught up in the middle.

3rd February

Father we give thanks for the diversity of churches we have across Scotland who faithfully meet together and serve you. We pray that in 2022, there would be a new season of growth and flourishing, of church planting, of new churches of all shapes and sizes birthed across Scotland for Your name and Your glory.

Every Sunday evening several hundred people from our churches across Scotland join in our National Prayer Livestream.

The prayer calendar is a framework to help individuals or congregations pray for all our churches throughout the year.
