4th February

Lord Jesus we give thanks for the different ways we can learn from you and from each other as we journey through life. We give thanks today for the Training Hub programme where people can take time to learn more about themselves and about you. We pray that as they meet in some form this weekend, that you would bless their time together.

5th February

Marion Carson (pastoral Support Coordinator, Glasgow City Mission) – Please pray for staff of the City Mission who are working with people suffering from addictions, assisting many to go to rehabilitation units. Pray for the staff of the Child and Family Centre as they work in various ways with local children. Give thanks for their excellent relationships with local families. Pray also for the many asylum seekers and refugees who make use of all our services.

6th February

We pray today for those in our communities who are dealing with the effects of long-Covid, and for whom  ‘getting back to normality’ still feels like a long way off. Father God may they know Your presence with them as they take things a day at a time.

Every Sunday evening several hundred people from our churches across Scotland join in our National Prayer Livestream.

The prayer calendar is a framework to help individuals or congregations pray for all our churches throughout the year.
