16 Feb, 2022

16th February

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer (Psalm 19:14). Lord God we pray that as we go through this day, we would speak words and think thoughts pleasing to you – conforming us more and more to the likeness of Jesus.

17th February

Broughty Ferry BC – We give thanks to God for the people who professed faith in Jesus, were baptised as believers or who became members of the church in 2021, also for the dedicated service and generous giving in the congregation. We pray for our outreach courses and the new Life Groups that will be formed this year. We pray also that we may honour God as we worship, witness and work for Him in our local community.

18th February

Broxburn BC – We give thanks to God for his presence over the past 2 years, for those who have remained faithful during the difficult times and for those who have joined us. Pray for us as we reach out to our local community led by our part-time Community Pastor. Pray for initiatives begun, contacts made and for a clear vision of what God can do when we respond positively to his prompting. Pray that we might be the love of Christ to all we contact.

Every Sunday evening several hundred people from our churches across Scotland join in our National Prayer Livestream.

The prayer calendar is a framework to help individuals or congregations pray for all our churches throughout the year.
