13 Aug, 2022

13th August

We give thanks that we can meet as larger church gatherings and in smaller house groups. We pray for small groups as they restart after the summer. May they be places where deep friendship can be built, where people can ‘do life together’ and where your Word can be shared and studied with others.

14th August

Jenny Wilson (General Director’s PA) – Please pray for me as I aid Martin in his role as General Director and as I work with members of the National Team to prepare for Canopy Online in October.

15th August

Kilmarnock BC – We pray for Kilmarnock Baptist as they make Jesus known in the town and as they run the Renew Wellbeing group and other ministries during the week. Father God may you bless the church in their sowing and growing for your kingdom.

16th August

We pray for Ukrainian families who have managed to come to Scotland or are in the process of applying for refuge here. We pray for children in particular who may be very traumatised from the war in their own country. Father would you be close to the broken-hearted and may you comfort those in need at this time.

Every Sunday evening several hundred people from our churches across Scotland join in our National Prayer Livestream.

The prayer calendar is a framework to help individuals or congregations pray for all our churches throughout the year.
