Safeguarding Training
We have arranged more Safeguarding training opportunities for ministers and chaplains across our network, as well as for Safeguarding Coordinators and Designated Safeguarding Leads in Scottish Baptist churches.
This training will be provided by Thirtyone:eight (thirtyoneeight.org/) – an independent, Christian charity, which has specialised in offering support, consultancy and training in protecting the vulnerable for more than 30 years.
We have three separate, online webinar events scheduled in 2025, each consisting of 2 sessions of 2½ hours
Church Planting

Lead Academy: Learning Communities
Lead Academy offers a learning journey that connects churches, coaches and leaders together by providing unique insights and tools to release churches to their full potential.
Lead Academy are a non-denominational organisation drawing on extensive church and leadership experience across the UK and beyond with a passion to see the gospel transform culture through the ministry of the local church.
The BUS have partnered with Lead Academy to run a two-year journey for church leadership teams.
