Stromness BC – We are thankful that our church has actually grown over the pandemic and we have been blessed with young families that have relocated to Orkney joining our church. We are now in a time of transition in the leadership of our church and we are looking to expand our leadership team and discern the way ahead. We would really appreciate prayer into this.
11th December
We give thanks today that you, Jesus, are the reason we celebrate Christmas. We pray that, in what can be a busy time of year, people might stop and reflect on the real meaning of Christmas and come to recognise the gift of a Saviour.
12th December
Please pray for staff faithfully serving in care homes and hospitals as they seek to make this time of year special for the residents and patients. Pray in particular for those looking to bring Christmas joy to the many children in hospital at this time.
