We have reached the end of our Training Hub course for 2021-2022 and what a year it has been! Despite the fact that the cohort has been scattered between Edinburgh, Glasgow and Broughty Ferry, plus the challenges of still feeling the effects of the pandemic, we have been able to create a community of young adult leaders who have grown in their discipleship journey over the year.
One of my favourite things about being part of the Training Hub team personally is seeing how the different sessions impact different trainees and being able to unpack these significant moments further in our prayer triplets. One core theme in my prayer triplet has been prayer and how we can hear from God and develop the gift of prophecy in our lives.
It is really encouraging that as one trainee now goes on to university and the other to working with Christians Against Poverty, they can take this learning with them and practise the prophetic in the new spaces that God has called them to.
Do be praying for all our trainees as they step into what God has next for them, and also that God would be leading individuals to our next course beginning in September. Training Hub is a discipleship and leadership programme designed to enable you to become more transformed into the person God created you to be. It runs over 10 months and is built on 3 key areas: discipleship, mission and leadership. We want to see you growing deeper in your relationship with God and others; making disciples in your local context, and to see you leading with vision and confidence in the things God is calling you to.
Through monthly gatherings and conferences, prayer groups and assignments, this year should provide you with a platform to discover and solidify your gifts, abilities and calling. Training Hub is a place where we can come together and sit at the feet of Jesus in order to learn, grow and become more equipped to make a difference.
